With over 20 years of experience as a Clinical Social Worker and a former preschool teacher, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my work. My background includes several years spent in medical settings, where I supported children and families impacted by chronic illness. This experience gave me deep insight into the complexities of caregiving, resilience, and the emotional toll of chronic conditions. Additionally, I have conducted home studies for both international and domestic adoptions, and as an adoptive parent myself, I offer a unique perspective to families navigating similar journeys.
In my private practice, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the stressors of parenthood. My approach is eclectic, drawing on multiple therapeutic modalities such as Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Evidence-Based Coaching, and Positive Psychology. This allows me to tailor my support to each individual, helping them build resilience and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and clarity.
